About Maze Electric

Maze Electric, LLC has deep roots in the communities we serve, built on decades of craftsmanship, reliability, and customer-focused service. Formerly known as D.S. Groff Electric, the company was founded by Dale S. Groff in 1997 as a full-service electrical contractor serving McKean, Elk, Potter, Warren, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Chautauqua counties across Pennsylvania and New York. In 2001, D.S. Groff Electric expanded its services by becoming an authorized Generac dealer, offering generator sales, service, and maintenance while continuing to provide quality electrical contracting.

Maze Electric is Located on South Avenue in Lewis Run PA 16738 at 1508. We encourage customers to stop by and see the operation of our business. We are a family-owned company and treat our customers as if they are family. We have a standby select circuit generator at our facility along with the owner’s home that if you are curious about operation of an automatic standby generator, you can schedule an appointment with Conner to go through ours and see how they work. We also use those generators as training aids for our technicians to keep our skills sharp. We train on cutting/connecting weather heads, pulling meters and training on installing generators, servicing generators. We have training aids on 1 Generac air cooled generator, and 2 Kohler air-cooled generators. Maze Electric maintains about 1,000 generators a year ranging from air-cooled, liquid cooled, and diesel generators of all brands. We can also do over the counter sales on all OEM generator parts and maintenance kits.

In 2023, Maze Electric was founded by Conner Maze with a vision of delivering modern, dependable, community-centered electrical service. That vision grew even stronger in 2025 when Maze Electric proudly acquired D.S. Groff Electric. This transition honors the legacy built by Dale S. Groff while bringing fresh energy, updated capabilities, and a renewed commitment to excellence.
